In Govt. College, Jhajjar, there are two units N.S.S. are working. Smt. Anjali Siwach and Shri Kishan are the respective programme officer of unit-I and NSS Unit-II. During the year 2012-13 various activities were organized. On 24th September 2012, the volunteers of both the units participated in the various competition organized at M.D.U. Rohtak. On 26th November 2012, the volunteers participated in the “National Integration Day Programme” which was organized at M.D.U. Rohtak also on 30th January 2013, the volunteers of both the units participated in the programme organized by M.D.U. Rohtak on the occasion of “Mahatma Gandhi’s Martyrdon Day”. Two one-day camps and the seven day’s special camp were also organized. The seven day’s special camp of both the units was organized from 24th February 2013 to 2nd March 2013. The camp of unit-I was organized at village Kaimalgarh, Jhajjar and that of unit –II at Dev Colony, near Govt. College, Jhajjar. Through this camp the volunteers of both aware of the social evils like female foeticide, dowry system and other crimes against women and the downtrodden through rallies and surveys. Extension lectures by the eminent persons were also organized during the camp which surely benefitted the volunteers.
