About Career Guidance and Placement Cell

The Placement Cell plays a crucial role in locating job opportunities for Under Graduates and Post Graduate students passing out from the college. Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Government Post Graduate Nehru College Jhajjar serves as an interface between students and the corporate world. With guidance from the honorable Principal and Faculty members Placement Cell works round the year and closely coordinates with recruiting teams from leading corporate houses to make sure that students get suitable openings once they finish their courses.

Aims & Objectives:
  • To interact with the corporate world for training & placement activities.
  • To promote close Industry-Institution relationship.
  • Arranging Guest Lectures by the experts from academia as well as industry.
  • Arranging Soft Skills training programs for the students.
  • Arranging In Campus as well as Off Campus placement procedures.
  • Preparing the data of students for all the academic years as per requirement of Corporate.
  • To discuss the performance parameter with the experts from the industry after placement procedures are completed.
  • To develop Entrepreneurship awareness amongst the students.
  • To interact with Alumni.
Important Instructions for Students:
  • Students must keep a regular/frequent check with the Notice Boards/whatsapp mentor groups and their e-mails for any information about any placement related activities.
  • Students are expected to inform Placement Cell about any change in mobile numbers and their email IDs for smooth communication.
  • Candidates getting job offers through their own are expected to inform the Placement Cell within two weeks of their appointments.
  • Students appearing for the campus placements drive should be in formal attire and should maintain dignity and conduct.
